If I start working as an independent contractor consultant (as opposed to as an employee) in the State of Washington, what federal, state and/or local paperwork and taxes am I required to submit on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. I am not setting up a separate business entity, but rather will be working as individual (or sole proprietorship I guess). I know that I must fill out a W-9 for any companies that hire me as a consultant. But beyond that I'm not sure what other federal and state taxes/paperwork I'm supposed to be submitting. Thanks |
