I am not sure but I guess the Indian government has opened up Retail FDI and has allowed foreign labels like Gap, Gucci, et al to open up retail outlets where they would sell their own products. You would need to get this confirmed from someone in India and ask for what are the other licenses or permissions you need before you can set up a store in India. If you have already done this then your next step would be (as pointed above) to try and get in touch with Gap, Inc. |
