It is likely that this question will take considerably more time than most Researchers are likely to want to invest in order to earn $3.75 (the Researcher's share of your current fee). To get a good response, I suggest that you raise the price considerably. Compiling a list of ten hotels that meet your requirements may take several hours. |

I tried this just to see how accurate pinkfreud's estimate was. These 3 links took around 15 minutes. Each hotel has room balconies available and is well rated on tripadvisor. Good luck! Oh, I should clarify that pinkfreud was spot on - a good answer will take hours. |

murunbuchstansinger, Just curious. Did you verify that the three hotels you mention have balcony rooms available on Saturdays in mid-June, as specified by the customer? |

murunbuchstansinger -- Are you a New Yorker? I am and those 3 hotels are not the first ones that come to mind for an "amazing view," (although vinay-78 never defined what amazing would mean.) For example, The Crowne Plaza -- depending on the direction of the room- - wil overlook Times Square -- which some people might find garish, others colorful. Or, it could be aiming at 8th Avenue, ugly and noisy. The Affinia overlooks Madison Square Garden-- a very unattractive part o' Manhattan. Now perhaps the view from a high balcony room extends way downtown -- but it will be one of the noisiest balconies you could ever stand on, with fire engine sirens and traffic and hordes of people streaming into Penn Station. You didn't pick any balcony hotels overlooking Centeral Park or any way downtown over-looking the water, etc., which would, in my opinion, anyway, rank much higher than the 3 you named. |

pinkfreud - I did verify they had *rooms* available although I have no idea if these were balcony rooms. I only spent the minimum time I could get away with by searching for hotels in Manhattan with rooms with balconies above the 20th floor. Again, my aim was to see just how long it would take to give a *good* answer and without local knowledge. As far as the specific issue of availability of balcony rooms, with most hotel booking systems I have seen you may end up physically ringing them up to ensure availability if this is not priced separately. I would guess $75 would be a more realistic price minimum for a useful answer and, after all, the question asker's budget for the trip would be wasted if he gets the wrong room, so this would be money well spent! |
