I am looking for a list of the number of weddings by major US city.
Last year totals would be good. Projections for this year would be
better.

The US government reports on the number of marriages each year...not
quite the same as the number of weddings, but pretty close, I would
think.

However, the data is presented by state, rather than city, as you can see here:

http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr54/nvsr54_09.pdf

Take a look at page 6 of this report, and let me know if it helps you out, at all.

Thanks,

Yes, that helps. But smaller chunk would be better. Can you find a
report by county or marjor city?

I don't think such a report exists.

You can piece it together state by state (or city by city) from
reports such as this one for NY:

http://www.health.state.ny.us/nysdoh/vital_statistics/2003/table47.htm

But I've never come across any source of data that breaks out marriage
statistics for the US as a whole, at a level below the state level.

sorry....
