My wife has been accepted into a Physician Assistant (abbreviated to
PA) program in the state of Illinois.

We would like help to find full or part financial scholarships for
this program. The problem is she was accepted into the school late on
in the process. Her academic year starts this June 2006, and a lot of
scholarship application deadlines have been and gone.

We are aware of one program that gives a full ride scholarship, but
then you have to work in medically under represented area such as a
rural area, or the inner cities. Now, this in itself is not a totally
bad thing, but as I will be working full time, and we have a mortgage,
we couldn't just uproot and move to a new area.

So to confirm what we are looking for:

1) A full (preferable) or part financial scholarship for a PA program in Illinois.
2) A deadline that is still at least a month away (but maybe less if
thats all there is)
3) Prerequisites that do not take into account a spouses financial
earnings (I don't want her to not be able to get a scholarship because
I am working)

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions that will help you with this.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, even with a list of scholarships ...acceptance and
getting them is another thing. Try www.fastweb.com

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

We understand that getting a list of possible scholarships is not the
same thing as being accepted into one - but without knowing which
scholarships are available to us, we can't even get started.

Thanks,

M
