Where can I buy a stopwatch in Amsterdam, Netherlands?  Is there a
sports shop /sporting equiptment in town? I am currently in Schiphol,
Netherlands near the airport.  I am travelling by train.  I need the
stopwatch before 19:00 GMT.  Ebay or mailorder is not an option. I can
not speak Dutch.

Don't worry about not speaking Dutch.

Even shop girls in Holland speak great English (plus Dutch, French and
German) and they love to practise.

There are loads of shops that can cater for your needs. 

Just ask around! 

But BEWARE! 

Please avoid the young ladies sitting in the windows in Canal Street:
they might misinterpret your wish to Stop and Watch.
