Credit cards were opened in my name in 2002.  The person is someone I
know and I do not want to press charges, but may need to in order to
clear up my credit/score.  Has the statute of limitations passed for
prosecuting?

Where do you live?

Not your full address, just the State (for example) where you live or
the fraud took place.
