Hi, I would like to know a general question about R&D Investment for a
programming model. I have developed a model for R&D investment during
the development phase, assuming research is already one. I
am trying to have some general ideas of how my theoretical model fits
in. Basically, my model's parameter is:

1) Testing costs
2) Development costs
3) Revenue generated by successful development
4) Recoverable invesment in the event of abandonment
5) probability of successful development

Basically i'm not looking for specific numbers, just the ratio of the
costs and revenue. and if the ratio are not specific (eg. testing
costs are much higher than development costs, don't need to give
numerical values), then at least
can you introduce me to some common R&D investments? (for example:
new process development, pharmacetical, IT)
