I'm trying to find historical data on "Mortgage Debt Service Ratios"
on a *state by state basis* within the U.S.

This data is sometimes referred to as "Household Debt Service and
Financial Obligations Ratios", or more generally referred to as
"Financial Obligation Ratios (FOR)".

If you go to http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/housedebt/ you
will see exactly the kind of data I want. Unfortunately the data
presented here is a *U.S. national average*. I need the equivalent
data presented on a state by state basis, or at least on a regional
basis.

* In particular, I'm interested in the data pertaining to mortgages.
If you only provide mortgage data (equivalent to the 6th column in the
above URL), that's fine.

* I need to be able to plot the data in Excel.

* I'd prefer 20 years of data (5 years at a minimum), in a quarterly
or yearly basis, ideally in a similar form to the above URL.

* If you can't find all states, then MA and CA would be a great start.

p.s. The data I'm looking for is *consumer* data, not to be confused
with the financial obligations of various government entities.
