Where can I find statistics on how many transactions eBay does per

Please provide these statistics for me as well as the source for the statistics.

you do know that such information would be worth a fortune and would
be closely guarded by ebay. Any website that published that would be
attacked by ebay most venomously. unless ebay is willing to give you
this data I would be surprised if you have any chance at getting it.
Large companies guard this sort of data very strongly.

If you dig around and look at eBay's financial reports, like here:

http://investor.ebay.com/financial.cfm

you'll get information on total sales (you would have to break it down
to a daily total).

I believe listing totals can be found here: http://www.auctiontool.com
