I am looking for the equipment to make cell skins. Cell skins are custom printed, custom cut covers that stick on a cell phone. I am looking for the equipment to make these, Where can I find it? There are lots of web sites that offer them for sale, but I cant find the equipment to make them. |

The skins are normally some form of printed laminate. The Laminate or "foil" is normally inserted into the mould at the time of production of the phone facia. The foil then bonds with the moulding to produce the new skin! The equipment that you want is an injection moulding machine with mobile phone mould. This is expensive equipment and expensive moulds. Expect to pay in excess of $100,000 for a machine (new) and $10,000 for a mould. You can probably pick up some second hand ones fairly cheaply. |

I understand how OEM and aftermarket faceplates are made. This is not what I am looking for. |
