Episode #45, maybe?...

"AJ is breaking curfew to hang out with his new girlfriend Devin, who
seems disappointed that her "gangster dude" doesn't live in a place
with gates and guards, like the Corleone's, or her father. "

jackburton-ga,

I really can't say for sure if this is the episode I'm after, as the
summary doesn't mention the ride or any of the dialogue.

You don't remember who the couple was, do you? Meadow worked for a
social-services agency in the Bronx, mostly in Seasons 3 and 4 I
believe, and several scenes were shot in that area. I have a vague
recollection of a scene in which her friend or friends (I believe her
friend Hunter) visited her there and may have made such a comment. I
would check the HBO episode guide referenced above to see if that
helps.

It is episode #45. I can specifically remember that scene. They were
talking about how well off they have it. I remember AJ saying "and we
have a cleaning lady that comes 3 times a week." He was later
embarrased by that because Devin is very wealthy and has multiple
cleaning people that are there everyday.
