I use Outlook for my emails and I have included my Yahoo email account in Outlook following the instructions from Yahoo. Despite entering the account particulars in Outlook and the password but whenever Outlook is started it does not seem to load the Yahoo email -- wrong password. I have double checked the password entered in Outlook and it looks good, I even did a copy and paste. I use Verizon DSL and also have an MSN account installed in Outlook. Both the Verizon and MSN email accounts load without a problem. Is there anything I am doing wrong. |

You have to pay for POP access(Outlook)with Yahoo.com You could use this http://sourceforge.net/projects/yahoopops or sign up for a yahoo.ca account it has free POP access. |

You need to pay for Yahoo mail to work with outlook. The service has changed and a lot of other service providers have done the same!! Yahoo is about $20 a year, pay for it and it will work with outlook. Hope this answers your question, msn and hotmail and netscape will not work either for new users. If some day you have to restore your computer, your msn may not work because you were grandfathered in! Have a good day, |

To have yahoo work with your outlook for free, you just have to go to your account, subscribe to a sponsor (1 or more, they don't send that much pubs) and you are up and running |

Hi jegajothy-ga! First of all outlook is from microsoft community.. so you need to test few thing before. do create a hotmail account and send an email and set your outlook setting for the hotmail. I am sure it will do. I have done it so many times. second thing is what outlook version you are using. do ask your dsl provider about the smtp setting , I am sure that you will find your solutions by going through these solutions http://help.yahoo.com/mail/pop/pop-06.html |
