I recently bought a Sony Walkman W800 phone. I have a DELL computer that I bought 5 years ago. It's a 1.2 GHz computer and it runs quite fast, so I have not needed to upgrade (and I'm a developer). However, now I have run into a problem. My question: I cannot seem to connect the phone to my computer! I installed the drivers that came with the phone. I also downloaded floAt's Mobile Agent 2, a program that's supposed to recognize my phone. I have a USB 1.1 interface (not 2.0). I also bought a USB dongle from BTSync. Windows can see the phone but that's about it. The floAt program says "no native bluetooth available!" Is there any way I can connect to the phone? USB? Bluetooth? Any answers would be appreciated. it sounds like a problem with your computer, try using someone elses computer that runs good, and see if you get the same results, if not post the results here |

Windows frequently has problems identifying devices on the USB port. |
