Question ID: 708050
I recently bought a Sony Walkman W800 phone. I have a DELL computer
that I bought 5 years ago. It's a 1.2 GHz computer and it runs quite
fast, so I have not needed to upgrade (and I'm a developer). However,
now I have run into a problem.

My question: I cannot seem to connect the phone to my computer! I
installed the drivers that came with the phone. I also downloaded
floAt's Mobile Agent 2, a program that's supposed to recognize my
phone.

I have a USB 1.1 interface (not 2.0). I also bought a USB dongle from
BTSync. Windows can see the phone but that's about it. The floAt
program says "no native bluetooth available!"

Is there any way I can connect to the phone? USB? Bluetooth? Any
answers would be appreciated.

Greg

it sounds like a problem with your computer, try using someone elses
computer that runs good, and see if you get the same results, if not
post the results here

Windows frequently has problems identifying devices on the USB port.
