Hi saratoga: I was able to find a list for you of the amount of federal land in each Nevada county on the Nevada State Library and Archives Site: http://dmla.clan.lib.nv.us/docs/nsla/sdc/federal-stat.htm This list is up-to-date as of 2000 and shows the amount of federal land (in acres) per county as well as the percentage of each county that is federally owned. If you are looking to find the percentage of total Nevada federal land that is in each county, I have computed it for you below: Carson City .14% Churchill 4.48% Clark 7.36% Douglas .00068% Elko 15.65% Esmeralda 3.25% Eureka 3.81% Humboldt 8.84% Lander 5.12% Lincoln 9.70% Lyon 1.84% Mineral 3.50% Nye 16.45% Pershing 5.49% Storey .24% Washoe 6.02% White Pine 8.11% I hope this helps you out. :-) Thanks. websearcher-ga Search Strategy: federal land nevada ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=federal+land+nevada |
