Has the government (recent and past) established property rights,
intellectual property rights, rule of law, competition in their
economy, and trust in the economy?

competition between companies or are state owned enterprises
prevalent? And can foreign investors trust the economy enough to
engage in FDI?

It has most of them but define competition and trust because different
people have different definitions.
