Question ID: 708458
Where can I find a text-based java game similar to hangman or wheel of
fortune. It should work with 4 players and it should keep the score
for each player. The program asks the names of the players. Every
player should be able to guess the whole word or just one letter of
the word.

If the player guesses right a letter of the word, it is revealed on
the screen and he can go with guessing. But there is a limit for
guessing letters i.e. he can guess 7 times a letter per a word. Then
he must try to guess the whole word. If he guesses the word at he 1st
time, he gets 100 points, if at the 2nd time, he gets 80 points, and
so if he guesses the at the 5. time he gets 20 points. So he can guess
5 times per a word. After that the turns goes to another player.

There are 5 rounds per a game. At the points of each player are shown
on the screen.

The game has to be a simple text game without graphics. I need the
source code of the game.

If you dont find exactle this kind of game it's ok. The most important
thing is to find a java word game, that works with 4 players, keeps
the score of each player and it's possible to guess the whole word or
just one letter.

I have NO idea where such a game can be found.
There is a word game on popcap games called psychobabble that several
people can play involving the making of the best sentence.

Each player though must play on a seperate computer.

I think that the game you want is too specific and that you would have
to find an incredibly experienced java-matic to make you such a game.
