Hello- In a Pivot Table, I am trying to create weighted averages at the category level (i.e. by row field). Example: I have 10 groups of people that utilize 5 separate sources to produce a widget, each group perform differently. At the field (sources) level an average works fin however, when I want to see the weighted average of each group, I am stuck on how to complete that part. Can you help? |

I am not positive that I am understanding your questin completly, but I'll at least start since no one else has responded. Using this link http://www.beyondtechnology.com/tips011.shtml Using the example shown on that link, couldn't you just use Column D for the weighted average, put in the formula in Column D, but you would the formula would go across your row, not down as shown in the example. The Heading on Column D would Read Weighted Average, and it would be for the row. It might be easier if you simply provided 3 rows of data and then ask your question again, refering to the data. |
