First let me give you a little background:
We are a new company, conceived a little over a year ago by myself and
a buddy of mine. We produce educational and training courses and
content. But even more exciting, we are in the midst of developing a
learning engine platform that utilizes neuro, cognitive, and
psychological sciences in order to make a user?s learning experience
completely unique and tailored based on his or her personal learning
personality, styles, and preferences.
Within the next week or two, we will have our completed prototype,
along with a 30-minute interactive demonstration and tutorial. We
realize the importance of branding, and therefore want to include a
desktop theme to accompany this demonstration.
I recently purchased Object Desktop, a product of Stardock. Object
Desktop has an entire plethora of tools that all seem useful, however
extremely complicated. I have neither the time nor the developed
skill to put something together that I?d feel comfortable handing out
to potential investors and clients.
Therefore, I am seeking someone to develop a desktop theme for us. I
would prefer the theme be created using Office Desktop applications,
as it would allow us to edit content more easily. I also need an Icon
package developed for the demonstration itself.
Where would I find a person to provide this service for me? (Desktop
background, skin, toolbars, window borders, taskbar, buttons, icons,
animations, and any other like-themed element I am not mentioning).
How much does a service like this cost? Please bear in mind; I am
only seeking the highest-quality work. Incredibly creative graphic
design skills are certainly needed for this. And at the same time,
please consider our very limited budget (we are a struggling, but
developing start-up company).
What is the average turn-around time to create an entire packaged
theme? Please bear in mind; we are looking to have this developed and
ready for distribution within the next week or two.
