I would suggest to play these in iTunes under Wine or Crossover plugin from CodeWeavers. Here is the level at which iTunes works: http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name?app_id=134 Thanks to proprietary DRM technology from Apple, this is currently the only way to play these protected files. You need to follow the french case that is trying to open the Apple Fairuse DRM system. The unprotected files might be played in xmms with the right plugins. Second alternative is to burn all m4p and m4a files to CDs and rip them to mp3 files which you can play under any Linux mp3 client, like xmms or mpg123. |
