Omas MADE a variety of ink for fountain pens. The ink was called
Amerigo Vespucci -- it's red. Does anyone know where I can buy some? |

Hello Face2face,
Would online stores be all right, if they are available, or would you
prefer a place near you? I bet you'd like a place near you, though
please tell me where you're located to see if I could find such a
place.

Techtor, I'd be happy to find this particular ink anywhere. If there
happens to be a place to get it in the Denver, Colorado area that
would be terrific -- but online stores are fine, too.

Greetings again,
I've been looking around, and it doesn't look like there'll be a place
near you to get the ink. Only a couple of online stores seem to have
the ink... but I'll inquire first if they have it in stock. I also saw
a forum where someone said that Omas repackaged Vespucci Red as New
Red. I've found where to get that too, though I'm not sure if that
repackaging report is true. I'll see what else I could find.

Face2face,
I'm afraid I don't have good news for you. The site where I saw
Vespucci Red does not have it anymore, despite the listing. It appears
no online store carries Vespucci Red, and I couldn't find anyone who
might be willing to part with their bottle of ink. I will have to wish
you good luck then on your search.
