Dear flannery-ga, The answer is no. The epilogue was written by John Fletcher (1579-1625). You can read it here on Google Books. Beaumont and Fletcher: Or, The Finest Scenes, Lyrics, and Other Beauties of Those Two Poets. Pages 361-363 http://books.google.com/books?ie=UTF-8&vid=OCLC04886433&id=5DWcY45n5OsC&num=10&dq=%22Man+is+his+own+star,+and+the+soul+that+can%22&lpg=PA362&pg=PA361 Fletcher?s biography. http://www.luminarium.org/sevenlit/fletcher/fletchbio.htm Emerson (1803-1882) used part of the epilogue as a motto for his essay: Self-Reliance. http://www.emersoncentral.com/selfreliance.htm I hope this answers your question. If it does not, or the answer is unclear, then please ask for clarification of this research before rating the answer. I shall respond to the clarification request as soon as I receive it.
