Hello, bobby64-ga!
It seems that the 5-cup rice cooker you want is sold out everywhere I
looked in the United States. But - there is one from an online store
in Canada, and they do ship to the United States.
From Galtak Houseware LTD.
http://www.galtak.com/nat_srla18n.html
Panasonic / National SR-LA10N 5Cup/SR-LA18N 10 Cup Micro-Computerized Rice Cooker
1) 1.8L 10 cup/ 1.0L 5 cup capacity
2) Compact Design
3) Advanced Fuzzy Logic Technology
4) 13-Hour Preset Timer
5) Rice Porridge Feature
6) Steaming Feature
7) Slow Cook Feature
8) Non-Stick Coated Pan
7) Automatic Rewinding Cord Reel
8) Deluxe Steaming Basket Included
Click on the order box for the "5 cup model" and there is one available.
Will this suffice as an answer?

Hello again, bobby!
I found the same model (SR-LA10N 5Cup) on Panasonic.com. It is the
same model number as the Canadian rice cooker I listed above. It has
the rice porridge feature. Please look at the description on the
following link. It is very easy to order from Panasonic online, but
there is also a feature that allows you to search for local stores by
zipcode. However, you might simply want to order it from the online
store. I live near a major city, and the only model of this type that
came up in a store "near me" was over 300 miles away!!!!
Take a look:

If you feel this is the rice cooker you are seeking, I will go ahead
and post my information as an answer to your question.
I will await your reply!

you found the model number of the rice cooker and told me that i
would have to buy it in canada.it was sold out in us. you only
answered part of my question as I found the model on panasonic.com.
you were supossed to find informatuin out for me.as to where i could
buy one.that was the reason i went to google answers. not to look for
retail on my own.

Well - I found the model you wanted on the Panasonic website and I
told you it was (and is) available for purchase. The Panasonic website
is a U.S. site.
If you had already found it on there, why did you ask the question in
the first place?
The model you want IS available for purchase from Panasonic online, as
you can see from the following page:
http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vShoppingCart?storeId=15001&catalogId=13401
It is also available from Canada, but you do NOT have to buy it from there.
Oh well - free answer.

Didn't your original question also say, "or on line"? Didn't I find it
there for you? From Panasonic????
