In the 1930's there was a company that provided Donovan windows made of metal.Some were cold rolled steel, others were hollow metal. I got this info from an architectural drawing dated 1932. I want to know if the window company is still active or who its successor is or which manufacturer can create windows that match those made by Donovan (they could be aluminum with similar profiles)? |

Jeanluis -- No luck identifying Donovan as a window manufacturer. Contacted my brother, who's a door & window expert and he doesn't know of them. He suggested that for replacement parts, Blaine Window would be the best choice: http://www.blainewindow.com/ Replacement windows can be built to size by a number of vendors, depending on location. The only Donovan company I could find is: Donovan Co Inc 714-761-1921 851 S Western Ave Anaheim, CA 92804 They are listed as a "Home Center" on this website here: http://www.gy.com/biz/444110/714.htm |
