I remember back in the early nineties, probably around 1992, that my
local Hi-Fi store (the wiz) was selling new 'high end' Advent brand
speakers. They were a tower model, with I believe a high gloss wood
finish, with a downfiring woofer, and a separate narrow cloth covered
grill on the top that contained the tweeter. They were very slick
looking at the time, but I have no idea what they were called.  I
believe the tower had a bit of an angle to it, it was not a plane
rectangle but I believe came to a point in the back if that helps any.
