Question ID: 709717
I?m trying to make a business case for a new software application to
be ?Web-Based? as opposed to ?Rich-Client Based?. In particular I?m
trying to find quantitative data on the costs and risks associated
with:

The development of web-based software.
The maintenance of web-based software.
Securing web-based software.

The development of rich-client software.
The maintenance of rich-client software.
Securing rich-client software.

I can do my own analysis. I?m just looking for some help finding good
sources for real-world economic data.

firstly you need to mention what the software is for, how it will be
used, who will be using it, where they need to use it and what
technology already exists.
