I am looking at retracing Dr David Livingstone?s footsteps in his epic journey from West African coast to East African coast ? the route was from Luanda in Angola on the West coast to Sesheke, on the southernmost tip of Zambia, where he rested for 2 months, then he followed the Zambezi river to Quilimane in Mozambique. IT was 4,300 miles. Could you find out the following: 1 ? how long would it take to recreate this journey, 2 ? what would you see along this journey (landmarks, mountain, jungles, animals, people, towns, cities etc). This question is quite urgent, and i will expire the question by 2.30pm GMT | |

So you want to emulate the journey of a malarially sick white guy - carried by 50 odd bearers - whose only chance of not being massacred was because they carried a 'freak' Not a very attractive idea. |
