I would like to get the list of prices of 100 or more stocks. Of
course prices can be looked up individually for each stock from
various sources of the internet but this is very clumsy and time
consuming. Is there a way by which I can upload the list into an
internet site which will give me all the quotes? Don't advise me to
ask my broker since no broker will want to be bothered with this
rather frequently!

What do your lists look like?  Are they just comma-separated stock symbols, like:


IBM,GOOG,SYNA...


or is it some other format?


Better yet, perhaps you can just post a sample list here, so we can
experiment a bit.

The list of stocks can be comma separated, space separated or
separated by any character.
I would prefer to have them separated by carriage return such as:
IBM
GDT
GE
etc

I do this all the time.
http://finance.yahoo.com allows you to put a string of many stock
quotes ( I haven't found the limit) in the search box and hit submit,
you can also save the list in your "portfolio" and view two dozen
different ways. It free, its fast and its very accurate.
You can also download many free programs that will parse that data on
a daily basis and analyze the heck out of it for you. But for that you
might need some programming skills.

Thanks,  t_r-ga, for your comment. Being able to get a list of prices
far the same day as asked is great. But is there a way to get a list
of prices for a previus day?
