This is a pretty easy question and I am sure you will get it answered. Basically instead of using a web browser to access your gMail account you can use a mail program such as Microsoft Outlook. Go to the link below and pick out what type of e-mail program you have- http://mail.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=1555 Now all your gmail will arrive in your regualr e-mail software. Once it arrives there, you can set up rules to have it sent whereever you want. For example, I have outlook. In Outlook I created 4 different accounts. I have one account for my Internet Service Provider e-mail account such as blahblahblah@aol.com I have 3 accounts for a small business we own that are like BusinessPerson1@MyBusiness.com, BusinessPerson2@MyBusiness.com, BusinessPerson3@MyBusiness.com. In each one of these accounts I have set up in outlook, I give my e-mail account (Called a POP account) at the servers where my mail is, 1 at my internet provider and 3 on a server for our small business. In Outlook I push the Send Receive button and Outlook calls up each one of those servers, gives my log in name and my password and goes and picks up the mail and delivers it into my In Bx inn Outlook. When I send e-mail, there is a button up near the top called "Accounts" and I can create an e-mail message and send it out form one of my four accounts. Each acount can have a different auto signature. Once you know that Outlook will run out to however many accounts you have set up in G-Mail and go pick up that mail for you and bring it into Outlook that should be the key piece of information to help you understand how the tools are there already for you to use and your request is not really all that complicated. |

Gmail actually allows you to forward email any other email address, and also allows you to change the "from" line of emails you send to make it appear as if it was sent from another email address. Let's say you have aaa@gmail.com, bbb@gmail.com, and ccc@gmail.com; you can then configure aaa@gmail.com and bbb@gmail.com to forward all mail to ccc@gmail.com (go to Settings > Forwarding and POP) so all mail gets to one email address. You can then configure ccc@gmail.com to be able to send email from all three addresses (Mail Settings > Accounts). [Note you can do this with any email address from any email service, not just Gmail, as long as it allows forwarding of email] Gmail has help items available on how to do all this exactly, it's definately much easier than using POP, and I don't like Outlook :) |
