I can find no reference to Gdowski as "left-handed," "lefty," or
"southpaw" in any of the articles in which his name appears.
Not a definitive answer but probably a pretty good indication that he
was not left-handed.

If you really want to know, you could ask the man himself. Gdowski is
a coach at New Mexico State University, and he is listed in the
University directory at
https://ldap.nmsu.edu/perl/phonebook.pl/

Please let me know if this is sufficient information, and I may submit
it as an answer.

Thanks.

Coach Gdowski has not yet responded to my email. This is probably a
really busy time of year for him, what with the football season and
all. If I hear back I'll post. librariankt
