I would like to have an exhaustive list of organizations offering
financial assistance to persons needing organ transplants. By
"financial assistance" I am referring to all types of aid, including
grants, loans, and free medical care, medicine, transportation, etc.
For each organization, please state the type assistance offered and
the name and address of the organization. For organizations that have
websites, please include a link. Please include all organizations you
find, even if they don't have a website. Please do more than merely
listing the
organizations found at
http://www.patients.unos.org/101_finance.htm. I want a much more
comprehensive list that I can post to a website. Thanks.

Hi! Thanks for your question.

Please tell me if this format I have done is ok before you make a
rating. If you require me to post each program here separately then I
will do so. I only included the links to the list since some lists
describes the programs and types of financial assistance which could
be valuable to your research.

In researching this question, I found numerous websites which lists
different organizations offering financial assistance to those that
will have an organ transplant. I will try to provide an exhaustive
list as much as I can. The lists are inside the links so just follow
them. I hope that you won’t mind since some list provides a repetition
of certain organizations since I deemed it still necessary so we get a
better coverage of financial aid lists.

Request for Answer Clarification by informationseeker-ga on 01 Oct 2002 07:48 PDT
Thanks for requesting a clarification. As I stated in my original
question, "please state the type assistance offered and
the name and address of the organization." Instead of just links, I
want a list, with the name and address of the organization, and the
type of assistance offered. One of the links that you included in your
answer is CLASS
http://www.classkids.org/library/resourc/fundraising.htm. That page is
a good example of what I want. It has the names and addresses of each
organization, and briefly summarizes the assistance they offer. I do
not want people who look at my list to have to click on the links to
see if the organizations offer help of the type they are seeking. Your
answer should briefly state the type of help offered by each
organization.

Ok. I would just like you to know that I have received your request
and now working on it. I will however have to ask for more time.
Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for asking I clarification. Remember if this is not still the
format you want you can request another clarification. I will just
post the first four links as it is since you have already indicated
that this is the format you would like and then I will provide further
description on the sites I have found in my previous lists.

http://freemedicineprogram.com I stumbled across this website by
chance and see a lot of people struggling to pay for their
prescription drugs. If you have no insurance and have difficulty
paying for your medications you may qualify for free prescription
drugs, no matter what your age. The work with drug manufacturers
patient assistance programs to get the prescription drugs free of
charge.

There is a number of ways to save on the cost of prescription drugs.
