which breed of dog is responsible for the most bites in the uk.  also
a ranking list of other breeds would be helpful too and the evidence.

Detailed statistics seem to be thin on the ground. The only one I have
found is a very small study from 1982 to 1989 which only lists the top
four breeds.
I can supply the details if you think it answers your question, but I
would leave it for a while in case another researcher can find the
information for you.
