I am looking for an Ogden-Ola wind up phonograph. The most likely
locations to find these would be in the Chicagoland area or
Pennsylvania, where most of the units were sold. The unit does NOT
need to be in good or working condition, but the Ogden-Ola decal
should be genuine and intact. I am not interested in any other brand
of wind-up phonograph.

History to help:
Ogden-Ola wind up phonographs were a low-end brand of wind up
phonograph - less expensive than Victor or Wurlitzer brands. They
were manufactured on Ogden St. in Chicago.

I wonder if the Ogden-ola is related to other phonographs made on
Ogden Avenue in Chicago. I found a page that lists two that were
mentioned in Talking Machine World back in 1919/1922.

http://www.garlic.com/~tgracyk/makers.htm
263 Machines and Their Makers: 1916-23
240. Usona -- Usona Talking Machine Company, 1977 Ogden Avenue,
Chicago, Illinois. July 1919.
241. Valuphone -- Wizard Phonograph Co., Inc., 1977 Ogden Ave.,
Chicago, Illinois. March 1922.

http://www.garlic.com/~tgracyk/portable.htm
"Also in the March [1922] issue [of Talking Machine World] is an ad
for the Portable Valuphone, made by the Anton Cummings' Wizard
Phonograph Company of Chicago. Advertisements declared that the
portable featured double-spring motors and tonearms made by Otto
Heineman's General Phonograph Corporation."

Certainly no use to you if you want a genuine and intact Ogden-ola decal:

Antique "The Valuphone" made by the Wizard Phonograph Co. in a wood
case with brass corners and record storage department but the arm is
missing. Price $ 75
