When was Mycobacteria Paratuberculosis introduced to the Faeroe Islands?  

I am particularly interested in learning when bovine paratuberculosis
started causing Johne's Disease in the Faeroe Islands.  As this may
not be readily determined, I would be satisfied with learning what, if
anything, two veteranary journal articles say about the introduction
of paratuberculosis in the Faeroe Islands.  These journal articles
are:

I am currently working with the Faroese animal disease authorities to
obtain an  answer to your question.

(Please note that the two journal articles you refer to probably does
not relate to the Faroe Islands - the first one describes conditions
in Denmark, the second one describes the status in Iceland.  The Faroe
Islands is an autonomus region of the Kingdom of Denmark, but it is
unlikely to be included in the scope of the first article.

I am still awaiting a reply from the Faroes (I have established
contact, but the information seems to be hard to get).  Any other
