I am trying to find a real-life scenario that we can adopt to the
software we are selling to an international money lending
organization. The software is basically a way to get the African
governments out of their misery with paper-based data entry. What
happens is, when these African countries need some data about a
project, they do surveys in regional offices and people fill these
surveys by hand, then a person at the regional office collects all
this data and mail it to the central office where they just store
them. Well, we created a software package that will be installed in
all these remote offices and the software will transmit the data
simultaneously to the central server where it can be viewed and the
software for the central server will include statistical analysis
tools.
So my problem is, I want a similar system used by a Fortune 500
company, where they have a software installed at remote/regional
offices, and they can gather information about all their
operations/projects using a network-based system. What would be even
better is if they use this software to control the costs at regional
offices (like they can see all these costs and what they are for,
etc.).
Can you help me find a case study regarding this on the internet? Or a
company's website where they offer information on this? Thanks. |
