Question ID: 710809
Do you have any idea how I could find the following online tool?
I'm looking for a not-too-complex web based appliction that I can
download and install on my website that my ISP give me. Here are the
features I'm looking for:

- A web based applicaiton that I can download and use and it's freeware
  or possibliy shareware.
- It's simple "database" notepad: you enter a title for each
entry and then text for each "card". There is a program that I got
off shareware called "AZZ Cardfile" and I'd like it to work kind of
like that, but just off the web. The ammount of text per each notecard
shold be pretty much as much as I want. It would be nice if it could
do more than just boring text like bold, itallic, color, but not required.
- It presents a list of all the cards and is automatically sorted
alaphabetically and of course has basic funcions like edit, delete, new card.
- It runs over SSL so in theory it's secure
- Only I have access to the appliction. Similar to how my ISP
gives me a webmail appliction that I must enter a password to use,
  this would require a password.
- Since it's web based I can access it from anywhere!

Yahoo's notepad works really well and is an example of what I'm looking for
but has to BIG difficiencies: it's not SSL and I don't want to store
my information on Yahoo.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what ISP you have but its rare they give you website
space with the access rights to install software, the code such as php
to run the software and SSL. The problem is if you with to use SSL you
have to get a certificate and that in itself is $20 a year minimum. I
would say its not possible to locate what you are after.
