Phlak was meant to be used as a live cd not installed. can you not remove it and cut the power. while not the best way to restart a machine it will turn it off :) |

I used it as a bootable CD, but ever since my Dell 4500 dimension will not shut off when I shut windows down. Windows dows shut off. Phlak is not installed that I can tell. I turn on my power switch, the light by the reset/power button button comes on along with the power supply fan and onboard fan but POST does not initiate. But if I push the reset/power button, my PC the goes through POST and starts windows fine. |
