How safe is soy protein? I am looking for a peer reviewed scientific paper.
I've seen a few sites such as www.cetos.org,
www.soyonlineservice.co.nz and read that soy increases some cancers
and reduces other and a bunch of other stuff. Everyone else thinks it
is wonderfood. Since I am on a diet
that is very soy intensive, I am interested in finding scientific
information, pro or con as soy is not recognized as GRAS (presumed
safe) additive in foods and this represents more than half of the
protein in my diet. If there is not a analysis is there a paper
explaining why it isn't worthy of a scientific paper? (but not some
politic statement) That is a last resort ... only if there are no papers.
