I heard this on a "cocktail piano" record album and fell in love with
it. Unfortunately the
Web hasn't turned up much and the chords are pretty elusive. Any ideas?

I think the melody starts out like this with a beguine-type of rhythm

c d e g------ f c d eb------ db
c d e g------ f c d e------
d eb d bb ...

Hello chris,

I have located a couple of arrangements for you. They differ slightly
because the second is arranged for guitar. You will need to have Adobe
Reader installed to view the first file :

Out Of Nowhere -

Out of Nowhere as arranged by The Guitar Guy

To assist with this answer, I used Google to search for :

"Out of Nowhere" Green or Heyman
://www.google.com/search?q=%22Out+of+Nowhere%22+Green+or+Heyman

OutOfNowhere.pdf
://www.google.com/search?q=OutOfNowhere.pdf

Please let me know if you have any other questions or need some
clarification. I'd be happy to assist.

You can download Adobe Reader here if you need it (it is free) :

Just what I was looking for (but didn't find). The two versions are
good to help catch errors. The .pdf has an A chord that s/b minor.
It's minor in the other!
