What is the volume of pay-per-click click-throughs on any major Internet search engine? IOW, how many total ad click-throughs does Google or Yahoo!/Overture (or even total of all Internet advertising-sellers) do in a given time period? The time period could be by the day, week, month or year. I'm only looking for pay-per-click volume, not page impressions. I sort of think this is an impossible question, but I still gotta try for the answer. Any input is appreciated. |

Well Google made about 6 billion in revenue last year, and 97% of it came from paid advertising. If that was all click throughs at 5 cents each ( 5 cents to the other party, website or whatever? ) it would amount to around 116 billion pay per click throughs ... http://www.commentwire.com/article_news.asp?guid=5F132282-5C89-45F3-8A61-5FAE0A304464 JOHN WALKER |
