How many high schools use hired musicians to perform at their musicals?

None that I know of. In my experience, high schools that license
musicals but have no musicians to provide the musical background, pay
for the CD of the music tracks from the same Music Publisher that they
acquire the license to perform the play from. These tracks are
provided under very stringent copying provisions.
