ftp://ftp.bls.gov/pub/special.requests/lf/aat19.txt That file shows that there are 56,179,000 workers that work 40 hours per week in 2005. Not a complete answer but may be useful to you. |

I would hazard a guess that they do not work in the Information Technology field, those 56 million 40 hour a week workers that are supposed to exist here in the US. They are doing something else entirely. They are not creating, maintianing, or developing databases, corporate information systems or business enterprise application systems and/or hardware platforms. HR or accounting departments, perhaps? US DOL databases could no doubt reveal all. To the poor DBA's overtime credit. LOL |
