Here is an article published September 4th, about the Supreme Court barring ambulance services in Lake County, FL: http://www.emsnetwork.org/articles/fl_tax.htm And the site where the abstract of this article was published: "Quick fix - Florida Supreme Court tossed another ball into Lake County's budget-juggling act - Florida TAVARES - Two weeks ago the court said the fees may not be used for city and county medical services only for fire services. In Lake County however medical services are part of the fire-rescue package when emergency workers arrive at a scene. Original article: Supreme court bars tax for ambulance services - Florida " http://www.defrance.org/keepin_up.htm Let me know if this is the incident you're referring to, and I can try to find you more information! -Rebekah |
