I am one of siblings that were put up for adoption. I was trying to
track down my birth mother and found her 2001 obituary indicating a
brother who attended the funeral. I know he had been in foster care
but was later raised by my mother. I've contacted adoption services
for WI and they can't help me further. I only know what my mother's
name was because it was mistakenly put on my birth certificate. I
don't own a computer and am using a friend's and am not familiar with
the searching the internet very much.  I want to find this brother
mentioned in the obituary.  If you can search the web or anything else
for me that's what I need.  This is the information I have:
Mother: Sharon R. Nash, maiden name Shada. Died June 1, 2001 (obit in
the Jacksonville Union Time or Times Union) was printed on June 3,
2001. Funeral was in Jacksonville Florida (contacted the funeral home
and they can't give me more info. on my brother).  Brother that
attended was a Darrin Shada.  I know he's aprox. 39/40 years old and
was born sometime in 1966.
He was possibly born in Madison, WI and possibly lived in Kansas.

Have you asked the Funeral Home if they could take YOUR information,
call your brother and give him your contact information to him?
