I've been working on this one for a while with no success. It's the
background music in a preview for an upcoming SciFi Channel show
called Eureka.  It's has a modern alternative rock sound but with no
lyrics, making it hard to find.

It also showed up during Spike TV's Video Game Awards 2005, but was

I've tried contacting SciFi and Spike TV with no success.  Please advise.

Hi, at a guess, especially given the contexts and multiple uses, it's
probably stock music rather than something from a known band.

I'm sure that's a possibility but it sounds so much like something
you'd hear on the radio that I would like to find out for sure, one
way or another.
