Question ID: 711595
Looking for an extremely fast printer which can print on thick
card-stock. The cards are 8x10 (but can be slightly smaller).
Ideally, I would like there to be a strip of 3M adhesive on the back
of each card (but I know this is a stretch).

Details:

I am looking for a printer for a specific application I have. I need
a printer that will produce cards from about 5x7 or 10 8x10 extremely
quickly. I need it to have the speed of a label printer? I press
enter on my PC and it immediately blasts a card out. I will be
printing the equivalent of single powerpoint slides? one at a time.

It needs to handle both text and graphics. I prefer to print in
color, but can live with B&W. Could be either laser, ink jet, or thermal.

Do you know of any printer that will do this? Also, is there a good
source for think card stock with 3M glue on the back that can come out
of a printer?

What kind of price range are you looking for with the printer?
