How long is the Right of Redemption in Ontario, (Canada) when the owner is living and working in overseas? I am living and working in Australia. The Bank repossessed and sold my house without giving me adequate right of redemption. I was a Real Estate agent in Ontario and believe that the Right of Redemption is two months when the owner is living overseas. I need to conclusive evidence to confirm or repudiate my understanding of the situation. |

This site seems to apply in general, but makes no mention of overseas owners: http://www.law.unb.ca/Siebrasse/LSA/LSAPartV-C.PDF |
