Hello,

I am looking for a provider that can do the following:

We will send an email with a specific format e.g phone number in
subject line and a short text in body. The email will be sent to a
specific system that can place a call to that phone number and
preferably also read the text to the person that is getting the phone
call.

if there are providers that just do the part that will place the call
only is fine too.

We are looking basically for providers that would read your email over
the phone, but in most cases, the phone number is the only account
holder, or the only registered number that can receive the phone call.
That is not enough, we need to be able to place a call to basically
any phone number (like a notication or reminder call type of thing
that is email triggered.)

would be great if you can show me more than 1-2 providers, this way we
get an idea about pricing.

is it possible to get a notification when this post has been answered?

Don't know if this would work for you, you'd have to set up 1 email
account per phone number.

Email2Phone
http://www.email2phone.net/
..."How does it work: When you create an account with us, you will be
assigned an email address, similar to yourname@email2phone.net.

Then you can set your regular mailbox to forward emails to
eMail2Phone.net or just use eMail2Phone.net as your everyday email.
Once you've set up your email account with Email2phone.net emails that
are received by the service are converted into a high quality human
voice messages and delivered to the phone number that you specify. In
other words, email to phone..."

Does this work or do you need to use the customers own email addresses?

i must say this is the closest one I have seen so far. I wish i could
just use this one. However, it is essential that we as the sender
(sender email can be the same at all time, no problem here) dont need
to verify the phone number first. I just tested the free trial: For
every new number that wants to receive a phone call notification (even
it is for a one time only purpose), we would need to login to this
site and code verify the new phone number with an automatic phone call
and then create a filter that if subject line contains this number
then it should call this number, assuming you can create unlimited
numbers and filters.

It is essential that the email can contain the phone number and it
will call that number, as if i would pick up the phone and dial this
number. The sender email can be the same at all time, no problem.

I am sure the solution i need is out there. just dont find the time to
find it. I remember a company in europe offered this service some 6
years ago and I asked myself why anyone would ever subscribe to such a
useless thing.

let me check your 2nd solution. just saw it now.

Hi forexman,

Thanks so much for accepting my research as your official answer!
Here are my suggestions again, in the Answer Box (which will charge
your credit card):

I think the best two solutions for you are these:

imbot - Text-to-Voice Automated Outbound Calling
http://www.imbot.com/Services.asp
Use your regular email or a weblink wireless interface coupled with
Imbot's text-to-voice synthesis system to generate a crystal clear,
digital quality message delivered to the designated recipient via
telephone.

Also, many times I come very close to the "perfect answer" and later,
find the very thing. It's likely that in the next few weeks I will run
across something better than these two, so watch your inbox for a
"Clarification" of this answer, as I will post whatever I find in the
future here for you. An email will automatically be sent to you when I
do.

Thanks again..

~~Cynthia
