Which hdd backup/cloning program makes "*.Image" files? I made a 2 DVD
spanned image of a partition a while back, and have completely
forgotten which program I used - although in the past I've generally
stuck with Ghost, Drive Image, True Image, etc. The file ends with a
.Image extension, and I've tried all the above programs plus Paragon
Drive Backup..along with Daemon tools, isobuster, and UltraISO -
nothing will open it.

Perhaps an older version of a program made these, and it's no longer
available? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

magicmycote...

This page on FileExtension.com suggests the following association:

"Disk Copy, ShrinkWrap Disk Image"
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=IMAGE

Unfortunately, ShrinkWrap seems to be a non-existent program at
this point, as does Disk Copy.

Here's a page on ShrinkWrap:
http://www.atpm.com/5.10/shrinkwrap.shtml

Here's another:

More in the searches:

.image extension backup OR clone OR cloning

ShrinkWrap Disk Image

I looked at both "Disk Copy" and "Shrinkwrap". Shrinkwrap is a MAC OS9
application, and Disk Copy is a DOS utitlity, and I made the backup
using an XP program. I could kick myself for not writing the name of
the app on the discs. :(
