What city/county small claims court was involved?

Have they offered any guidance on how to collect the judgement in your favor?

What sort of entity is it that owes you $5k?

Here in the UK, a Judgment Debt brings a lot of clout.

Maybe you could sue for winding up?

Maybe you could put a lien on their bank account? (A garnishee order in the UK)

Maybe you could go after the owners personal assets?

Dellitron,
Who is "they"? If you won your suit, you have a claim on individuals
or a corporate entity. What they have done subsequently is
immaterial. If they paid a high priced lawyer, "they" have something
to protect.
The more information you can give Pafalafa the better he can help you:
case no., etc.
